ABSTRACT:
A 9 page research paper --8 page report and a 1 page abstract-- that addresses the ethical challenges involved with the demographic dilemma of an aging population. Topics addressed include professional and legal considerations for healthcare practitioners. These issues are examined, first of all, by delineating their relevance to a healthcare manager's professional perspective. Then, the report addresses the concept of professional ideas and values that impact these issues. There is an extensive discussion of ethical obligations and, also, a concluding section on what actions should be undertaken by healthcare practitioners in regards to the future. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
